A number of prominent dignitaries today hailed the meetings of the Saudi Qatari Coordination Council scheduled for Riyadh tomorrow as a step forward to encourage joint ventures, pave the way for profitable investments and promote cultural exchanges between the two countries. They said the council could constitute a nuclear for vast projects to be carried out by both governments and private sectors to the benefit of the peoples of the two sisterly GCC states. Among those interviewed by the Saudi Press Agency to highlight the event were Abdulrahman Al-Jeraisi, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Riyadh; Dr. Fahd bin Abdullah Al-Sammari, Secretary General of King Abdulaziz Foundation for Archives and Information; and Dr. Abdullah Al-Washmi, head of the Literary Club in Riyadh.
