Hundreds of thousands of pilgrims arrived in here early this morning, the Ninth of Thu-al-Hijaz, following the deed of the Prophet Mohammed (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) on this glorified day of Standing in Arafat, asking Almighty Allah for forgiveness and mercy, and to perform the shortened and combined 'Duhr' and 'Asr' Prayers as well as to listen to Arafat sermon. The pilgrims will stay in Arafat until sunset, and then they will move from Arafat to Muzdalifah to spend the night there. Security personnel are in their specified positions, surrounding motorways and pedestrian paths for the organization of pilgrims' movements. The various government sectors working in the service of pilgrims are in full readiness to provide varied medical and catering and other services to pilgrims. Prince Naif bin Abdul Aziz, Minister of Interior as well as Chairman of Hajj Supreme Committee; Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Governor of Makkah Region and Chairman of the Central Hajj Committee were following the process of movements.
