The Malaysia-based Saudi Cultural Attaché Musaed bin Ahmed Al Jarah hailed the support rendered by the prudent leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for education. He also expressed appreciation for the direct guidance of the Saudi Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Anqari to facilitate, provide support for and advice to Saudi students studying abroad. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Al Jarah said that "as many as 48,000 male and female students were sent to study abroad as part of the Program of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for Scholarships".
