Al-Jouf Olives Festival & Exhibition launched

Prince Fahd bin Badr bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Jouf Region opened here last night Second Al-Jouf Olives Festival convened at Prince Abdul Ilah Cultural Center in Skaka.
The opening ceremony was attended by Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Secretary General of the General Authority for Tourism and Antiquities and Minister of Agriculture Fahd Abdul Rahman Balghunaim.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Balghunaim said Jouf region is known from the ancient time to cultivate olives, fruits and vegetables. "Moreover, agriculture has been developed in this area and expanded to 600 hectares. This festival is one of the best ways to market this blessed product."
