The Chairman of Shoura Council Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Homaid visited the headquarters of Australian Parliament here today in the framework of his current visit to Australia. He attended a part of the deliberations of the House of Representatives and Senate. Dr. Saleh met with members of the Committee of Foreign Relations, Defense and Trade in parliament headed by Senator Michael Vorcha. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and Australia, particularly ways of strengthening parliamentary, trade and cultural relations. He also visited Saudi embassy in Canberra where he was received by Saudi Ambassador to Australia Hassan Talaat bin Nazer. Dr. Saleh paid a visit to Saudi Cultural Department and a mosque in Canberra. On Tuesday, he attended a dinner party held in his honor by the Saudi ambassador.
