Shoura Council Chairman Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Homaid arrived here today, kicking off his state visit to Australia at the invitation of the Australian Parliament Speaker. At Sydney International Airport, he was received by a number of senior officials of the Australian Parliament and Saudi Ambassador to Australia Hassan Talaat bin Nazir. The Governor of New South Wales of Australia Marie Bashir received here today Shoura Council Chairman Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Homaid who is currently visiting Australia. During the meeting, Dr. Saleh conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, to the Governor. In turn, the Governor expressed appreciation of the Kingdom's role to support development in poor countries. Bashir commended the bilateral relations between the two countries, calling for further cooperation in various fields. Also, they discussed ways of enhancing bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, especially in the parliamentary field.
