Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khojah and Lebanese Minister of Education and Higher Education Bahia Al-Hariri opened today King Fahd bin Abdulaziz Garden established by the municipality of Lebanese city of Tripoli in recognition of the support provided by late King Fahd bin Abdulaziz for Lebanon. In a speech on this occasion, the Lebanese minister commended the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for continual support for Lebanon and its people, also praising the King's adherence to the language of dialogue and moderation as well as maintaining Arab and Islamic rights. On their part, other speakers including former Lebanese minister Samir Al-Jesser and Tripoli's Mayor Rashid Al-Jamali expressed their thanks and gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for its continual support for Lebanon. In a press statement following the opening ceremony, the Saudi Ambassador noted the interest, care and attention paid by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General for Lebanon and its people, affirming the Kingdom's determination to continue its efforts to support the brothers in Lebanon and stand by them, wishing the Lebanese people prosperity and stability.
