The second phase of the Saudi aid provided by the Saudi Committee for the Relief of the Palestinian People supervised by Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Interior Minister, has been launched. The aid included the baskets and various food stuffs meeting the necessary needs of the affected people in Gaza strip. Jamal Hamad, the media official at the United Nations Relief and Work Agency (UNRWA) in Gaza said the program of the Saudi Committee for the Relief of the Palestinian People is part of an agreement to support a number of projects and programs to provide food, medicines, medical supplies and fuel with a total value of USD6 million. The UN official hailed the support provided by the kingdom to people in Gaza and the Palestinian camps in Lebanon.
