Ministers in charge of Water Resources Promotion and Desertification Combat in the Arab Countries and South America concluded a two-day meeting in Riyadh today. In a joint communiqué following the meeting, they agreed on ways to promote cooperation among the two blocs to curb deterioration of water resources and lands, boost combat of desertification and enhance the development and management of their resources in a sustainable way that will positively affect the standard of living of population in each of the Arab countries and South America countries.
