Secretary General of King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives "DARAH" will participate in the works of the second Conference on "History of the Arabian Gulf" scheduled to take place in Sharjah, the United Arab Emirates from November 17 to 19. It is being organized by Dr. Sultan Al-Qassimi Centre of Gulf Studies in cooperation with College of Arts, Human and Social Sciences, Sharjah University. The conference will be entitled "navigation in the Arabian Gulf through the ages." As many as 46 scientific papers from the Arab Gulf states will be presented at the conference. On the fringe of the conference, King Abdul Aziz's "Darah" will also stage a mobile a photographic exhibition on 'navigation in the Arabian Gulf'. The exhibition will include pictures reflecting the life of the Arabian Gulf, movement of ships and fishing history, as well as a range of historical documents from the eastern region of Saudi Arabia bordering the Arabian Gulf.
