The Yemeni-Pakistani Joint Technical Committee commenced Saturday its activities scheduled on November 8-11 here, Saba reported. Co-chaired by Director of Accommodations Management in the Yemeni Ministry of Technical Cooperation and Vocational Training Mohammad Khalifa and Pakistani Secretariat for Developing Human Resources in Pakistani Ministry of Labor and Human Resource Development Eftikhar Sumro, the committee discussed activating cooperation treaty singed between the two parts in 2005 in Sana'a and the executive program for the period 2008-2010. The two parties asserted importance of establishing strong cooperation between the two brotherly countries, namely in field of technical cooperation and vocational training for promoting this sector. The two parts also affirmed on exchange visits of leaderships of the two ministries and exchanging legislations, studies, researches and information in this field as well as training Yemeni trainers. The Pakistani party to the committee would visit tomorrow several institutes in Sana'a for getting acquaint with situations of technical and vocational education in these institutions for fulfilling their needs of qualification and training.
