Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Saudi Arabian Red Crescent, received here today visiting Executive manager of the World Food Program Joset Sheran and accompanying delegation. During the meeting, they reviewed the joint efforts between the Kingdom and the WFP to alleviate the sufferings of the poor and the needy in the world. During the meeting, Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz requested the WFP official to expedite procedures of concluding an agreement with the program to show how they could benefit from the donation of the Kingdom to the program worth $500 million. For her part, she thanked the Kingdom for this generous donation which was, she said, used to help a number of poor people around the world.
