Liyotha bint Sultan bin Ahmed al Mughairiyah has been appointed as Head of the Secretary General Office Department at the Omani Foreign Ministry. She is the first lady to occupy the post of head of department at the Foreign Ministry. Yousef bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs issued a ministerial decision to this effect yesterday, Omani news agency "ONA" reported.
