The faculty of training at Riyadh-based Naif Arab university for security Sciences will organize within the framework of its scientific program for 2008, in cooperation with the international organization for civil protection and civil defense in Geneva, will organize here on Nov 8-12, 2008, a forum on confronting disasters and crises. Representatives of the civil defense, civil protection, the Red Crescent society, the health ministry and the relief organizations in the Arab countries will participate in the forum. The organization of the forum aims at enabling the participants of the forum to acquire advanced skills in the management of crises and disasters, and to enabling them to get acquainted with the international experiences in fields of evacuation and rescue. The forum comes within the framework of cooperation with the various organizations which have signed memorandums of understanding with Naif Arab University for Security Sciences.
