The International Law and Human Security Forum, organized by Faculty of Strategic Studies of the Riyadh-based Naif Arabian University for Security Sciences (NAUSS) in cooperation with the Lebanese General Directorate of Internal Security Forces, began today its three-day activities in Beirut. Representatives of Arab interior and foreign ministries and other concerned authorities are participating in the Forum. The Forum is aimed at studying the concepts of international and human laws and Islam and operational mechanisms of international and humanitarian laws as well as getting acquainted with the international criminal court. Dr Jaman bin Rakoush, the vice-president of the university, said the organization of the seminar comes within the framework of efforts of the university to tackle various security phenomena. --MORE
