Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa referred to the Arab Economic Summit, to be hosted by Kuwait next year, as "a great opportunity" for the private sector and the civil community to participate in Arab world development. Moussa, scheduled to head to Kuwait on Tuesday, went on to say "the private sector and social institutions will participate for the first time in preparing an Arab economic program." The statements were addressed to Middle East News Agency (MENA). Moussa asserted the importance of eliminating obstacles in the way of boosting Arab investments, especially in view of the current economic crisis. --MORE
