Arab League Secretary General Amr Mousa asserted that the coming Arab summit, scheduled to be held in Riyadh from 28-29 March, will witness a wide participation of Arab Kings, Presidents and Leaders. In a statements to Egypt's Middle East News Agency today, Moussa said that the summit will issue decisions regarding various political issues such as the Palestinian cause, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Sudan and Somalia in addition to economic and social issues. He also asserted that there is no change in the Arab peace initiative and there are no talks about the amendment of it, pointing out that the summit's agenda includes various Arab issues notably the Arab-Israeli conflict, Palestinian cause and the occupied Syrian Golan Heights. "The agenda includes an attempt for unifying Arab positions to carry out practical steps to free the Middle East from nuclear weapons and develop peaceful uses of nuclear energy in Arab countries", Moussa added.
