Yemen, Switzerland discuss cooperation relations

Minister of Industry and Trade of Yemen Yahya al-Mutawakel along with Yemen ambassador to Switzerland capital, Bern, Ibrahim al-Adwani held talks on Wednesday with Minister of Economic Affairs of Swiss Confederation government over means of developing Yemeni-Swiss relations, particularly economic, trade and investment promotion relations, Saba reported.
The two sides reviewed available investment opportunities in Yemen, the ongoing efforts to sign agreement on encouragement and protection of investment between the two countries, the common concern issues and Swiss government support for Yemen's endeavor to join World Trade Organization.
The Swiss minister accepted an invitation from Minister of Industry to visit Yemen in 2009.
