Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, Interior Minister, opened and laid the foundations of a number of projects at the Riyadh-based Security Forces Hospital. At the venue, he was received by the Minister of Health Dr. Hamad bin Abdullah Al-Manea and a number of senior officials. A speech ceremony was held on the occasion. In a key address, the Director General for Security Forces Programme Dr. Abdulrahman bin Muaamar reported that the hospital receives more than 3000 patients daily who are visited by 700,000 relatives and friends annually and that more than 8000 operations are performed annually at the hospital. He said that the strategic plan of the programme includes the set up of seven hospitals each with 120-bed and nine ideal health centers in different parts of the Kingdom. Then Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz laid the foundations of a number of projects in the hospital including Prince Naif Center for Kidney diseases and blood dialysis, Heart diseases and surgery center, gynecology department, pediatrics, clinics, operation rooms, emergency department, in-patient suites, administrative offices and a giant parking lot. --More
