The Saudi embassy in Islamabad celebrated tonight the 78th anniversary of Saudi Arabia's national day which fell on September 23. The event was attended by a host of Pakistani government ministers and senior officials, led by Foreign Minister Shah Mahmoud Guraishi, dignitaries, diplomatic corps representatives and Pakistanis who had their higher education in Saudi Arabia. Addressing the gathering, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan Ali bin Saeed Awadh Aseeri conveyed greetings and congratulations to his country's leadership and people on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the national day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He also extended greetings to the Pakistani government and people for sharing his country's joy of the event. He cast light on the achievements of the Kingdom in all fields, its initiatives to help solve various problems worldwide and services rendered for the visitors, umraha and Hajj performers every year. He lauded the bilateral relations between the two countries at all levels and in all fields.
