Pakistan's Prime Minister Sayed Yousef Reza Jelani received here this evening the Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Ali bin Saeed Awwadh Assiri, who bid the prime minister farewell upon the completion of his assignment in Pakistan as Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan. During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in all fields. The Pakistani Prime Minister lauded the distinguished efforts exerted by the ambassador in the field of enhancing relations between the two sisterly countries. Jelani sent his greetings to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, thanking the monarch for his feelings towards Pakistan and conveyed the love of the Pakistani people for the Saudi king and people. He drew the attention that the relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia emanate from an unified faith, common values and culture and identity of views towards most of the regional and international issues. For his part, Assiri thanked the prime minister for the assistance rendered by his government to make his mission in Pakistan a success to the benefit of the two countries.
