A driver is dead after a car crashed into a high school and burst into flames, AP reported. Police say the car crashed through a side entrance of Lincoln High School Friday afternoon and drove into the building. Students had been dismissed by the time of the crash. No students were reported injured. School secretary Carmel Mendoza says she and another employee tried to pull the man from the car after it crashed. Mendoza says the driver was a special education teacher's aide but police have not released the victim's identity. Mendoza told WJAR-TV that the aide looked distraught when she saw the man leave the building minutes before the crash.
