Vice Foreign Minister of China, Wu Dawei called on Advisor to the Prime Minister on Interior A. Rehman Malik here Sunday and discussed bilateral issues, APP reported. Wu Dawei reiterated the long friendship between China and Pakistan and appreciated the efforts made by the Government of Pakistan to release the two Chinese abducted nationals. Wu Dawei also reassured that China wants to contribute in the development of infrastructure in Pakistan. “China is looking forward for the first official visit of President Asif Ali Zardari to China next month,” he added. Rehman Malik said that Pakistan values its friendship with China. He said that cooperation and friendship between China and Pakistan would be enhanced in future. Secretary Interior Syed Kamal Shah, Lou Zhouhai, Chinese Ambassador and senior officials of Foreign Office and Chinese Embassy were present on the occasion.
