One of the world's largest petroleum exhibitions and conferences, ADIPEC, in association with the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and the Petroleum Institute, will host the second edition of the 'Energy 2030' forum from 3rd to 6th November in Abu Dhabi. UAE news agency "WAM" quoted organizers as saying that the 2008's edition will illustrate Abu Dhabi's 'Vision 2030' and its commitment to leading the global debate for energy resources of the future. Initiating the educational and international debate on future energy resources and technologies, the Energy 2030 Conference will provide a forum for views to be voiced and information delivered which may prove to be of critical value to the strategic planning of research and development in the oil, gas and broader energy areas. The technical program will consist of twelve invited lectures and boasts high profile keynote talks by industry experts and scholars from around the world. Highly recognized experts will discuss topical issues on current and emerging energy resources and technologies that are likely to serve as critically important contributors to the energy supply, in various sectors, 20 to 25 years from now. These invited speakers will share their vision of resources and technologies spanning fossil and alternative fuels, energy from waste and biomass, solar and nuclear energy, energy efficiency and environmental initiatives.
