Crude oil prices slid Friday to $105.37 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange as a bailout plan in Washington was in discussion, UPI reported. If passed, the bailout plan would have an inflationary impact on commodities. Delays in passing the plan, therefore, have a reverse affect, The Wall Street Journal reported Friday. Crude oil prices fell $2.65 to $105.37 per barrel. Heating oil prices fell 0.0598 cents overnight to $2.966 per gallon. Reformulated blendstock gasoline fell 0.0618 cents to $2.6355 per gallon. Natural gas prices fell 0.074 cents to $7.65 per million British thermal units. At the pump, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was $3.683 Friday, down from Thursday's $3.70 a gallon, AAA said.
