The Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL) Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki issued today a statement in which he congratulated the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, its leaders and people on the National Day. "Allah Almighty blessed late King Abdulaziz to achieve great national and Islamic accomplishments, notably the spread of security and safety throughout the Kingdom", Al-Turki said. "Late King Abdulaziz established governing system on the basis of the Holy Quran and Prophet's Sunnah. Islam is the constitution of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. the Saudi people witnessed stages of developments that enabled Saudi citizens to catch up with modern global civilization and adhere at the same time to their religion and values", he added. "The Islamic approach of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia led its leaders to support Islamic organizations, commissions and institutions in the Kingdom and abroad", Al-Turki said. MWL Secretary General expressed sincere congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz; Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General; and the Saudi people on the National Day.
