Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah has said his visit to the US is aimed at meeting with President George Bush to exchange views over a host of bilateral relations. Speaking to KUNA after arrival yesterday at Andrews Air Force Base at Prince George's county in Maryland near Washington for a three-day visit, Sheikh Nasser said he was happy to be in Washington to meet Bush "to discuss and exchange views over the distinguished bilateral relations." Sheikh Nasser said the visit would continue previous discussions between Bush and Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. "There is no doubt the solid relations between the State of Kuwait and the US are historic, " he said. This visit is a good opportunity to discuss with the US officials the fate of "our sons held at Guantanamo and to reaffirm Kuwait's firm rejection of terrorism or backing it by any form," he said. --MORE
