Transport Minister Khaled al-Wazir discussed on Wednesday with Omani ambassador to Yemen Abdullah al-Badi cooperation relations between the two countries in field of transport, Saba reported. The meeting dealt with decisions and recommendations Yemeni-Omani Joint Committee has reached over marine conference for combating piracy and armed burglarizing against ships Yemen hosted during October 27-30 and establishing regional center in Yemen for combating piracy. The minister stressed the importance of developing mutual relations between the two friendly countries in marine and ports field as well as in filed of civil aviation , exchanging flights and expertise and easing difficulties facing the two countries in ground outlets. He mentioned that a memo of understanding on eradicating marine piracy and armed burglarizing against ships in the countries of Indian Gulf, Aden Gulf and the Red Sea would be signed during the conference Sana'a would host next October.
