Director's Deputies of King Saud University have commended the royal approval of allocating SR10.3 billion for the completion of a number of strategic projects of the University which reflects the support and follow-up of the Saudi leadership to serve development and reform and to shoulder the University an additional responsibility for the achievement of greater distinction and pioneering role. In press statements on this occasion, the Director's Deputy of the University Dr. Abdulaziz bin Salem Al-Ruwais expressed his thanks to the leadership for this generous gesture, which gives a clear indication that education in the Kingdom has a high position to the leadership, noting that the university is one of educational institutions in the Kingdom seeking to achieve the aspirations of the leadership and transforming funds allocated to the University into reality for benefiting the sons of the Kingdom and its people. For his part, the University's Director's Deputy for Higher Studies and Scientific Research Dr Mansour bin Suleiman Al-Saeed said that the great support provided for the University by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud clearly points to his keenness on the higher education sector and to his recognition that this sector is the cornerstone of the growth and prosperity of countries. This support will help the university in transforming the society into a knowledge-based society, he said. --More
