Jordan's King Abdullah II will start a two-day official visit to China on Wednesday during which he will hold talks with Chinese President Hu Jintao. The talks are expected to focus on means of boosting bilateral cooperation, the establishment of strategic relations between the two countries as well as a number of regional and international issues of common interest, Jordanian news agency "PETRA" reported today. During the visit, the King and the Chinese President will attend the signing of a number of agreements, protocols and Memorandums of Understanding designed to promote cooperation in the sectors of mining, transport, scientific research and alternative and nuclear energy. The King will also meet with Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao for talks on ways of cementing Jordanian-Chinese ties as well as developments on the regional and international levels.
