With the advent of the holy month of Ramadan, the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) intensifies its efforts to assist the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. The OIC has launched a second aid campaign by freighting medication, food supplies and other medical supplies, currently on their way from Jordan to the Gaza Strip. On the occasion of this holy month, the OIC appeals to all philanthropists and benevolent organizations across the Muslim Ummah to contribute generously to kick-start a third aid campaign that will hopefully have a palpable impact in alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip due to the unjust embargo, according to a press release of the OIC.
