The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ranked 16 in the field of competitive business environment, according to the Doing Business 2009 report issued today by the International Finance Corporation (IFC) of the World Bank. The report assesses the business environment in 181 countries as well as their investment competitiveness. According to this classification, the Kingdom tops Arab countries and the entire Middle East in the field of competitive investment environment. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Governor of General Investment Authority Amr bin Abdullah Al-Dabbagh expressed thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, for their support for investors in the Kingdom.
