Awwal 06, 1432, Feb 09, 2011, SPA-- The Governor of Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) Amr Al-Dabbagh said that a number of developmental steps and reforms took place in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2010 leading to the improvement of the Kingdom in a report of Doing Business, ranking the Kingdom as the first one at Arab level and the 11th at the global level. In an interview with Al-Iqtisad (Economy) Magazine issued by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Eastern Province following the issuance of the report by International Finance Corporation (IFC), an affiliate of the World Bank, Al-Dabbagh stressed that the Kingdom comes on the list of the top five countries in the world that have carried out economic reforms over the past five years. He affirmed that the era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has been characterized by development and modernization in various areas, including the economic field which has witnessed a number of significant developments and reforms directly affecting the economic growth and prosperity in the Kingdom.
