The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the Cabinet's session at Al-Salam palace in Jeddah on Monday. At the outset of the session, the King briefed the Cabinet on overall talks, consultations and meetings held over the previous days with leaders of some countries and their envoys on the latest developments and issues at Arab, regional and international arenas, as well as bilateral relations. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) following the session, the Minister of State, Cabinet's Member for Shoura Council Affairs and Acting Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Saud bin Saeed Al-Mat'hami said that the Cabinet expressed its satisfaction over the results of talks between the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The talks emphasized the importance of joint Arab action to confront events and challenges in some parts of the Arab world, stressing deep bilateral relations between the two countries and joint aspiration for the enhancement of cooperation in all areas for the service and best interests of their peoples and Arab and Islamic nations. --More
