In implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to provide aid to Mali during the blessed month of Ramadan to alleviate the shortage of food stocks, the effects of drought and locust recent invasion of agricultural crops, it was signed here today the minutes of aid delivery from Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Mali. The minutes was signed by Saudi Acting Chargé d'affaires Ibrahim bin Abdulwahab Al-Gharib, Head of Saudi Relief Delegation Ibrahim bin Suleiman Al-Diruwish and Head of Mali's Commission of Food Security Al-Ansari Nana Haider. The aid included 3667 tons of rice, worth $ 3 million. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) on this occasion, Haider expressed the thanks and gratitude of Mali's President Amadou Toumani Toure to The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, for their continual stands in supporting and assisting the Malian people.
