The total estimated allocations for the programme of Human Resources Development Fund to recruit qualified and unqualified people for this year amounted to SR 1,695,438,000 according to agreements signed with the beneficiary enterprises to spend on human resources development projects during the period of training and employment for a period ranging between one year and three months to three years. The Fund's annual report for the year 1427/1428H. showed that the support for training programme and recruitment of qualified people amounted to SR 769,963,000 creating 20294 training and employment opportunities as well as a sum of SR 925,475,000 for training and employment programmes for unqualified people creating 33107 training opportunities and then finding jobs. The report stated that the Fund has continued this year in building bridges of fruitful cooperation with several parties through agreements on Saudization of jobs and joint training programs by supporting 53401 job opportunities in the private sector, an increase of 33 % over its plan targeted 40,000 opportunities in 2007, noting that the Fund supported 156421 job opportunities over the past five years.
