Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier, Defense and Aviation Minister and Inspector General, has expressed appreciation for the role being played by King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (MAWHIBA). In a message of reply to Dr Abdullah bin Salih al-Obeid, the Minister of Education and Deputy President of King Abdulaziz and his Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity, Prince Sultan expressed happiness for the admiration of the Arab education ministers with the activities of the Foundation and the keenness of the Arab League Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ALESCO) on benefiting from the experience of the Foundation as regards taking care of giftedness and creativity. Prince Sultan expressed appreciation for the efforts exerted by the personnel of the Foundation to enable the Foundation play its important role. In his message to Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Dr al-Obeid briefed him on the memorandum of understanding sighed byte Foundation and ALESCO in line with the decisions of the sixth conference of the Arab education ministers, held in Riyadh last March under the patronage of the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz. In his message to Prince Sultan, Dr al-Obeid said the MOU reflects the confidence of ALESCO on the Foundation, and it will give a good impression about the Kingdom. He lauded the great attention being given by the Saudi officials to the Foundation. It s worth mentioning that the Foundation signed in the last period several agreements with a some Saudi universities as well as some local, Arab and international parties concerned with giftedness and innovation.
