All required arrangements have been made for carrying out the project of simultaneous translation for Traweeh prayers (which are performed after Isha (night) prayers during the days of the blessed month of Ramadan) from the Holy Mosque of Makkah and the Prophet's Mosques in Madinah. The project is to be carried out by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Endowments, Call and Guidance in cooperation and coordination with the Ministry of Culture and Information. The Project's Director Talal Al-Aqeel, who is Adviser to the Minister of Islamic Affairs, said that the ministry has developed the project through a modern and sophisticated computer program which will make the implementation of the project easy and safe. The ministry has benefited from the experiences of the previous years and acquired administrative, technical and scientific experiences in this respect, he noted. He added that simultaneous translation will be telecast in English from the Holy Mosque of Makkah on channel 1 and in French from the Prophet's Mosque of Madinah on channel 2. --SPA
