Mozambique's government held here today a ceremony for the delivery of Saudi aid to Mozambique. The aid was directed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The aid included 400 tons of relief and food stuffs and 2,000 tents to help in facing the damages of floods that swept Mozambique recently. The ceremony was attended by a number of officials. The Director of Mozambique's National Disaster Management Institute Joao Ribot delivered a speech in which he thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for providing the people of Mozambique with relief aid to mitigate the effects of floods in Mozambique. "The Kingdom stood with all countries that faced natural disasters by providing them with relief aid", he said.
