The fourth plane of Saudi Relief Airlift program departed today from King Khalid International Airport for Yangon, the Capital of Union of Myanmar, carrying 68.450 tons of foodstuffs, blankets and tents. The Saudi Relief Airlift program came in implementation of the directives of The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud in providing humanitarian aid to the Union of Myanmar to mitigate the effects of Nargis cyclone and floods that swept many parts of the islands of the Union and claimed the lives of many inhabitants of these stricken islands.
