The death toll in the deadliest twin suicide attacks in the history of city on Thursday has risen to 78. City Police Officer (CPO) Rawalpindi Rao Muhammad Iqbal while giving details regarding Thursday's suicide attacks on the two gates of POF Wah Cantt, told APP here Friday that six more deaths have been confirmed which brings the overall death toll from the blasts to 78. They were identified as Mukhtar, Ejaz Hussain, Arshad Mehmood, Moiz Shah, Waheed Akhtar while one of the victims could not be identified so far while 103 were injured and admitted to POF Hospital and hospitals in Rawalpindi, he said. Police have taken 13 suspects have been taken into custody. Rao Iqbal added that an official hand out about the details of the tragic incident would be released from the office of CPO Rawalpindi on Friday. On this occasion, the POF administration has announced a three-day mourning. The administration added that production units of POF and educational institutions will remain closed for three days.
