Army officials say two homemade bombs exploded almost simultaneously in two budget hotels in a southern Philippine city, wounding at least three people, AP reported. Army Brig. Gen. Hilario Atendido says the bombs were left in guest rooms in the Iligan Travelers Inn near a shopping mall and the Caprice Lodging House and exploded within minutes of each other Sunday in southern Iligan city. Other army officials say bomb experts are checking all hotels and lodging houses in Iligan to make sure they are safe. Nobody has claimed responsibility for the blasts.
