Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Salih received here today Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Interior for Security Affairs, who conveyed to him greetings of The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz and Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz. During the meeting, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, particularly in the area of security cooperation and counter-terrorism in addition to issues of common concern. Prince Mohammed bin Naïf lauded Yemen's efforts in combating terrorism and success achieved by the Yemeni security agencies in tracking down terrorist elements and foil their schemes. The Yemeni president, who asked Prince Mohammed bin Naif to convey his greetings and good wishes to The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, confirmed the depth of brotherly relations linking the two neighboring countries and praised the level of cooperation existing between them in all fields, particularly cooperation in the security sphere. The meeting was attended by a number of Yemeni and Saudi Senior officials including the Saudi Ambassador to Yemen Ali Al-Hamdan.
