The Saudi Popular Campaign to Assist the People of Lebanon continue distributing food assistance to the displaced persons from Bab Attabanah, Jabal Mohsen and AL-Qubah areas who abandoned their homes during the events in Tripoli and were forced to stay in schools. Badr Abdulrahman Assamhan, the Director in Charge of the Office of the Saudi Popular Campaign in Lebanon supervised the distribution process while he was touring the displaced people in Tripoli and meeting with the Mufti of Tripoli and the North Sheikh Malik Al-SHa'ar and General Coordinator of the Future Movement in the north Abdulghani Ghani Kabbara. Meanwhile, The Mufti of Tripoli and the North commended the efforts of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and its role in bridging the divide. He also praised the role of the Saudi Popular Campaign for the Relief of Lebanese people under the direct supervision of Prince Naif bin Abdul Aziz, the Saudi Minister of Interior. A number of Lebanese people and member of social organizations commended the assistance provided by Saudi Arabia through the Saudi Popular Campaign for Relief of the brotherly Lebanese people displaced in northern Lebanon and described it as a humanitarian gesture appreciated by all.
