AMMAN — The Saudi-Jordanian Joint Committee for Land Transport, headed by Undersecretary of Saudi Arabia's General Authority for Land Transport Eng. Abdul Majeed Al-Tasan and Secretary-General of Jordanian Ministry of Transport Fares Abu Diya met in Amman on Tuesday with the participation of representatives from relevant authorities in both countries. The meeting discussed land transport for passengers and good, and ways to facilitate transit procedures to serve common interests and enhance trade and economic ties between the two countries. The two sides addressed issues related to trucks, buses and vehicles at border crossings with the aim of facilitating movement of passengers and goods and strengthening the strategic partnership between Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
