Oil prices rose Thursday in Asia to near US$120 a barrel, halting a four-week slide on concerns that tension over Iran's nuclear program could lead to conflict, according to AP. Light, sweet crude for September delivery rose US$1.18 cents to US$119.76 a barrel in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange by late afternoon in Singapore. The contract dropped 59 cents overnight to settle at US$118.58 a barrel.
