United Arab Emirates Labour Minister Saqr Ghobash Saeed Ghobash and his Jordanian counterpart Dr. Basem Al-Salem have discussed ways of enhancing further bilateral relations and opportunities to develop the Labour market. UAE and Jordanian officials regularly hold such meetings and the two countries have achieved progress in the field of Labour cooperation, Ghobash told reporters. Agreements signed by the two countries have played a vital role; he was quoted as saying by the UAE news agency "WAM". The UAE Minister praised the Jordanian manpower's contribution to the process of development in the UAE. "Jordanian Labour in the UAE is highly regarded as Arabs who are already acquainted with the Arab traditions and values", he remarked. For his part, the Jordanian Minister said the UAE Labour market is promising, adding that joint UAE-Jordanian investments have achieved significant growth during recent years.
