Olmert, Abbas to meet Wednesday

Quds city (JERUSALEM), August 05, SPA --Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert will meet Wednesday in
Jerusalem, officials on both sides said Tuesday.
The meeting will be the first between the two since
Olmert, announced he would step down after his Kadima Party selects a new leader
in September.
Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat and Olmert's office
confirmed the leaders would meet Wednesday at Olmert's
Jerusalem residence, the Associated Press reported.
