Quds city, September 10, SPA -- Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas sat down together on Monday to try to work out guidelines for resuming peace negotiations, the prime minister's office said. Aides for both leaders said they would discuss issues connected with Palestinian statehood as well as day-to-day security and economic matters. The meeting is taking place at Olmert's Jerusalem residence, the Associated Press reported.
