Yemeni Deputy Education Minister Abdullah al-Hamadi and deputy resident representative of the World Food Program (WFP) in Yemen Salman Omar discussed here on Sunday the WFP-financed school feeding programs, Saba reported. The meeting confirmed the necessity of increasing the support for the school feeding programs that have positive impacts on raising the school enrollment rates in rural and remote areas in the country. The meeting also reviewed mechanisms for food distribution through 145 targeted schools in 19 governorates.
